Springs Health (formerly Weight Management Centre) described their situation
in 2000. "We had been growing in size dramatically over the last two
years and had incorporated a Gym and Health Food Supplements we had over
300 PLU's and i was concerned at the amount of mistakes that where being
made and also a great deal of till shortages, with so many people using
the till it was impossible to be able to work out who was making mistakes"

| WHAT INSTIGATED THE CHANGE? | ||||
I had called into B.J Lashbrook & Son, in Redcar as i wanted an additional till drawer for my cash register to try and solve my till shortages, i saw the Uniwell Touch Screen Tills on display and being a bit of a gadget freak, told Chris Lashbrook "i want one of them" Chris was great he sat down with me to discuss my needs because at first he thought the till was to advanced for my needs and was not going to be value for money for me, after explaing how the business has progressed since i purchased my first cash register with them and told him of the amount of PLU's we have and the errors from the staff, it was decided it was the correct way forward. The till was installed and both Chris and Mark came out to provide training over the next few days, the install went smoothly and the equipemnt has been faultless, on the occasions things have gone wrong, Lashbrooks have always had an engineer out the same day to us, but id also like to add they errors have always been our human fault and yet (touch wood) the tills! to this day we now run two Uniwell TX850 Tills networked together and run Total Loyalty, the best addition to my business yet! |
